COURSE DESCRIPTION
This powerful and ancient treatment focuses on the soles and upper region of the feet. Each organ of the body falls into a particular zone on the foot, allowing specific areas to be treated to help restore the body’s natural energy levels through massage and pressure points.

This course is a perfect introduction to reflexology and is open to complete beginners or existing therapists. No previous experience is required. This course is packed with knowledge that you may want to expand on. Completing this course can lead you to another level of holistic treatments such as reiki, crystal heling, Indian head massage and other complementary therapies. You will spend your practical day perfecting zone therapy and understanding the specific Healing Hands techniques that are needed to complete a thorough reflexology session.

Prior to the in-house training day you will be required to complete your online theory training, this will consist of the following:

  • Zone Therapy

  • Health, safety & hygiene

  • Related anatomy & Physiology

  • Contraindications

  • Consultation and record keeping

  • Assessing the feet

  • Mapping of the reflex points

  • Preparation of the work area and client

  • Reflexology routine

  • Contra actions & aftercare

  • Insurance

  • Case study instructions

QUALIFICATION

After your practical session you must complete TWO case studies at home in your own time.

You will need to submit evidence work of completed consultation forms & aftercare advice and upload short videos of you demonstrating the reflexology techniques that you were taught during your practical in-house session.

Once your tutor is satisfied with the content you will be issued an accredited Healing Hands certificate which will allow you to get insurance and carry out treatments on the public. If you choose the ABT as your insurance provider, then you will receive a 10% discount code.
