This treatment helps to restore wellbeing and rebalance the mind. Includes the upper back, arm and hand massage, neck, scalp and face massage. Focusing on pressure points and areas of built-up tension.

WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?
No previous qualifications or massage experience is needed for this course, it is for complete beginners or existing therapists who would like to expand their treatment list and widen their clientele. If you have a keen interest in all things holistic this course will help guide you through all the aspects of this ancient method and could lead you to other courses such as hot stones, reflexology, reiki, facials & crystal healing.

WHAT WILL I LEARN?
You will spend your practical training day perfecting all the steps that complete a traditional Indian Head Massage, but with bespoke original Healing Hands methods. We will focus on the routine and adaptations of the treatment, so you feel confident and assured to perform this on your clients.

Prior to your practical training day, you will be required to complete your online theory training, this will consist of the following:

  •  History of Indian Head Massage

  • Chakras

  • Effects & Benefits

  • Health, safety & hygiene

  • Related anatomy & Physiology

  • Contraindications

  • Consultation and record keeping

  • Preparation of the work area and client

  • Massage movements

  • Indian Head Massage routine

  • Business planning

CERTIFICATION

Your assessment for completion of this course will happen during you practical training day.

Your case study will be the model provided for you in the afternoon session.

You will be assessed and monitored on your communication ability with your client during the consultation phase, to make sure you understand the treatment procedure, and to give the correct aftercare advice.

You will be issued an accredited Healing Hands certificate which will allow you to get insurance and carry out treatments on the public. If you choose the ABT as your insurance provider, then you will receive a 10% discount code.
